With his 40% share of the heating market and estimated coverage of 50-75% of the new builds, Finland is the largest producer of district heating in the Nordics.

As if it’s not enough, their district heating network relies for the 90% on direct renewables and recycled heat!

Exergy Ltd is the coordinators of the € 8.8 million H2020 European funded Project THERMOSS which deals with district thermal retrofitting through renewables (solar thermal and heat pumps) and cogeneration alternatives.

As part of their activity portfolio, Exergy Ltd is assessing the energy efficiency and economic feasibility of district heating solution combined with renewables deployed in residential sites across Europe.

Promoted by EuroHeat & Power since 1954, the Global District Energy Days is the key event in the field of DHC, taking place in Helsinki from the 25th to the 27th September.

Exergy Ltd will be there available to discuss THERMOSS’s vision and results as well as happy to hear and learn from other District Energy initiatives.

We are excited to meet you in Helsinki!
