March 2019

Frankfurt WS

On 12th March 2019, THERMOSS coordinator and project partners gathered at “Towards low carbon heating and cooling in buildings” workshop organized within the framework of ISH fair in Frankfurt, Germany.

Three H2020 projects – THERMOSS, Heat4Cool and SunHorizon – were presented and representatives of these projects explained how their technology benefits both the building sector and environment.

The THERMOSS approach was presented by project coordinator Federica Fuligni from EXERGY to the audience of more than 50 people. The project introduction was followed by two sessions of presentations called “Coupling renewable and heating & cooling solutions/New technologies” and “How digital solution can support the decarbonisation of heating and cooling?”

At the end of each session, the audience had an opportunity to raise questions during panel discussions. It was great to talk with fellow professionals about different ways to reduce buildings’ energy consumption and CO2 emissions while increasing cost savings.
